Gerakan Rakyat Anti Korupsi (GERAK) hari ini membuat laporan kepada Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) Selangor berhubung isu banglo milik bekas Menteri Besar Selangor, Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo. Pengerusinya, Mohd Nazree Mohd Yunos berkata GERAK membuat laporan berhubung isu pembelian dua lot tanah serta sebuah banglo di Seksyen 7, Shah Alam oleh Dr Mohd Khir Toyo yang didakwa berharga RM24 juta oleh ADUN Sekinchan, Ng Suee Lim.

"Laporan dibuat setelah kita rujuk sebuah laman web yang menyiarkan mengenai kontroversi banglo Dr Mohamad Khir serta akhbar hari ini yang melaporkan dakwaan ADUN Sekinchan mengenai isu yang sama. "Kita minta pemerhatian dari SPRM untuk mengambil tindakan sewajarnya sekiranya dakwaan itu terbukti benar atau sebaliknya," katanya, lapor Bernama.

Media hari ini melaporkan dakwaan Ng bahawa kos pembinaan banglo termasuk pengambilan dua bidang tanah masing-masing berkeluasan 0.2 hektar dan 0.1 hektar itu, mencecah RM24 juta dan jumlah itu tidak mungkin mampu dibiayai Dr Mohd Khir melalui pendapatannya selama lapan tahun menjadi menteri besar.

Bekas menteri besar Selangor itu ketika diminta mengulas mengenainya, mengakui membeli dua lot tanah berserta sebuah banglo terbabit tetapi dengan harga RM3.5 juta dan bukan RM24 juta seperti yang didakwa oleh Ng.
